Hauck Coffeenizer Espresso Puck Screen
The Hauck Coffeenizer Espresso Puck Screen is a multi-layer woven metal mesh made from food-grade stainless steel for placement on the prepared coffee puck in the portafilter.
The puck screen can distribute water flow across the top of the coffee bed and can help keep the group shower cleaner. Its effect on extraction, flow and taste depends on the coffee, grind size, dose, basket, headspace, brewing pressure and other parameters.

- Multi-layer twill weave
- Specified mesh or filtration density: 150 µm
- Thickness: 1.7 mm
- Stainless steel, neutral in taste when used as intended
The additional thickness of the puck screen changes the available space above the coffee puck. Depending on the setup, adjustments to dose or grind size may therefore be useful.
Use & care
Place the clean and dry puck screen on the prepared coffee puck before brewing. Preheating can reduce the additional temperature influence of the metal.
Rinse with water or clean with steam promptly after use. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents and, according to the product-specific care instructions, do not clean it in the dishwasher. Use only when completely clean and dry.
