Return of goods
Consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB can return goods to us within 14 days of receiving the goods, in accordance with the statutory right of withdrawal.
The cancellation must be declared in advance by email to info@barista.tools . After declaring the cancellation, the goods must be returned to the return address specified in the cancellation policy within 14 days at the latest. Timely dispatch of the goods is sufficient to meet the deadline.
The consumer bears the costs of the return shipment .
We kindly request that you return the goods, if possible, unused and undamaged, and completely and carefully packaged. This will ensure prompt processing and does not affect the effective exercise of your right of withdrawal.
Special instructions for devices with lithium-ion batteries:
If a battery is removable, it must be removed from the device before shipping and included separately in the package. Removed batteries must be packaged in such a way that the contacts are protected against short circuits (e.g., by taping the terminals), each battery is individually protected, and movement or mechanical damage during transport is prevented. The packaging must comply with the applicable transport regulations for lithium batteries. Damaged, deformed, or swollen batteries must not be shipped via regular parcel services and must be disposed of properly.
All payments made, including standard shipping costs, will be refunded no later than 14 days after receipt of your cancellation and to the original payment method. We reserve the right to withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods.
A loss in value is only to be compensated if it is due to handling of the goods beyond what is necessary to ascertain their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Further details regarding the right of withdrawal, in particular exclusions (e.g. for sealed goods for hygiene or health protection reasons after opening, as well as for individually manufactured goods), are regulated in our cancellation policy and in the General Terms and Conditions (GTC).
Note: This return policy applies exclusively to consumers . Businesses (B2B) have no statutory right of withdrawal or return unless expressly agreed otherwise.
