Care Instructions

Our products are designed for everyday use. Proper care can help preserve function, surfaces and material condition for as long as possible. The following guidance is intended as a general reference. Product-specific instructions on the relevant product page, packaging or user manual also apply.

General care recommendations

  • Remove coffee residues, milk and moisture promptly after use.
  • Clean products with a slightly damp cloth where suitable for the material.
  • Dry thoroughly afterwards.
  • Do not store tools in a permanently damp condition.

Tampers, S-Tampers & Vibra Tampers

Stainless-steel base

  • Wipe dry after use.
  • If necessary, clean with a slightly damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent.
  • Dry thoroughly afterwards.
  • With a permanently attached base, make sure no moisture enters the handle, mechanism or electronics.

Do not clean tampers in a dishwasher unless the specific product is explicitly marked otherwise.

Mechanical parts, e.g. S-Tampers

  • Keep dry.
  • Regularly remove coffee dust with a soft brush or cloth.
  • Do not clean under running water and do not immerse.

Vibra Tamper – electronics

  • Clean external surfaces only with a slightly damp cloth.
  • Do not allow liquid to enter openings or gaps.
  • Never hold under water or immerse.

Handles & Materials

Wood

  • Wipe only with a slightly damp cloth.
  • Dry immediately afterwards.
  • Do not soak.
  • Do not clean in a dishwasher.

Nylon / Polymer / Soft-touch surfaces

  • Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and, if required, a mild cleaning agent.
  • Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
  • Follow the product-specific care instructions.

Silicone

  • Clean with warm water and mild dishwashing liquid unless the product has different care instructions.
  • Allow to dry thoroughly afterwards.

Carbon & Special surfaces

  • Clean with a soft microfibre cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or unsuitable polishes.

Milk Pitchers & Latte Art Accessories

Stainless-steel milk pitchers

  • If the specific product is explicitly stated to be dishwasher safe, it can be cleaned in accordance with that approval.
  • Alternatively, gentle hand washing with mild dishwashing liquid is possible.
  • Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

Coated or coloured milk pitchers

  • Follow the product-specific care instructions.
  • If there is no explicit dishwasher approval, clean by hand only.
  • Do not use scouring pads or aggressive cleaners.

Latte art tools & small parts

  • Clean promptly after contact with milk.
  • Store dry.
  • Follow product-specific material and cleaning instructions.

Accessories

Silicone tamper mats

  • Clean with warm water and mild dishwashing liquid.
  • If necessary, briefly soak coffee oils before rinsing thoroughly.

WDT / Stirring tools / Measuring cups

  • Clean by hand unless product-specific instructions state otherwise.
  • Dry thoroughly afterwards.

Barista Cloths

  • Washable up to 60 °C.
  • Do not use fabric softener.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Where possible, wash steam-wand cloths separately from heavily soiled cleaning textiles.

Important note

Dishwasher approval applies only where it is explicitly stated for the specific product. Electronic devices, mechanical tamper components, wooden handles and other sensitive materials must not be cleaned in a dishwasher or immersed in water unless explicitly approved otherwise.
