Anton Paar SmartRef – Coffee Refractometer for Baristas
The digital SmartRef refractometer from Anton Paar is used to measure TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) and, together with the corresponding calculations, can be used to assess extraction yield.
The compact measuring device is intended for baristas, roasteries and coffee labs that want to compare and document brew recipes using repeatable measurements. TDS readings can help evaluate changes in grind size, dose, brew time or recipe; they do not replace sensory assessment.
