ANSMANN 16340 / RCR123 Li-Ion Battery with USB-C

High-quality rechargeable lithium-ion battery from ANSMANN featuring an integrated USB-C charging port and protection circuit. The battery is particularly suitable for compatible vibrating tampers and other devices designed for protected 16340/RCR123 lithium-ion batteries with a nominal voltage of 3.6 V.

Thanks to the integrated USB-C charging port, the battery can be charged directly without requiring a separate battery charger.

Easy Charging via USB-C

The battery features an integrated USB-C charging port and can be charged using a standard USB-C charging cable. A 5 V USB power adapter, power bank or suitable USB port can be used as the power source.

When charging through the integrated USB-C port, the charging current is limited to a maximum of 0.5 A.

Alternatively, the battery can be charged using a suitable lithium-ion battery charger with a maximum charging current of 850 mA.

Integrated Charging Indicator

An LED on the positive terminal indicates the charging status:

• Red: battery is charging
• Green: charging is complete

Integrated Protection Circuit

The integrated safety board protects the cell against:

• overcharging
• overload
• short circuit
• deep discharge

The protection circuit increases operational safety and helps protect the cell against critical operating conditions when used as intended.

Important Information About Battery Size

Due to the integrated protection circuit and USB-C charging electronics, this battery is longer than an unprotected 16340/RCR123 cell.

Its dimensions are approximately 17 × 17 × 36.5 mm. When using the battery in other devices, please check that the device is suitable for the dimensions of a protected 16340/RCR123 battery.
